My attendance and deep observation as an artist to my society coupled with great aspirations and relentless work to attain artistic excellence, has provoked my imagination for making pieces of arts with the materials that would otherwise be considered trash or recyclable. These materials awakened and challenge the limit of my creativity to produce artworks that reflect my society and its mystic truths. My current series titled Society is made particularly with aluminum soda cans and the use of these items can reveal a great deal about one’s identity. Though we are willing to share a lot items such as spoons, cups and water bottles with family and friends, it remains a mystery how cumbersome it could be to share one can of soda. Therefore, making art with soda cans is to create a reflection of my society, enlightening my society through my visual forms without ignoring the purpose of aesthetic. email: adeniranart@gmail.com
