Nothing in life is more important than the connections we have with other human beings. And we all have experienced these connections; the kind of intense and often unexpected meetings that make us feel as though we have found bits of ourselves inside of another person. These profound, raw, scary, delicate, overwhelming, honest, and incredibly intimate moments shake us to our very core and resonate within us long after they are over. These encounters both break us down and rebuild us into truer versions of ourselves. It is terrifying and wonderful all at once. We are, essentially, emotional creatures, and we all need each other. My work is about these intimate moments, memories, personal relationships; both the beauty and the pain that goes along with letting your walls down and sharing the depths of yourself with another person. These are my moments, my pain and pleasure, but they are also yours. We have all been there.
