The question regarding the deformity of time and space when media and reality crisscross set the beginning of the my work. To explore the “between” of the image and space that’s shifting and imbricated, transitions it into an artistic creation founded from the personal experience to the experience embedded in the notion of place. The images produced by digital networks and software aren’t “the standard reproduced images” but mere “images from an object” that are generated and digested to be served as the crux constituent of the subject. Images go above and beyond paper and screen to be superimposed and transmogrify into multifarious forms of physical reality. Furthermore, images aren’t a mere representation of reality anymore but a morsel of it. My work processes the experience or discovered spaces into images, adds motion, re-edits and re-organizes them. It is in this process where the image embodies the role of giving life to a new space going beyond the standard reproduction of it. The recombination of images that are approving of visual joints or collages, I go over and above the original intent of the object image, leaving no stones unturned through diverse ways of interpretation whereas granting it wings for infinite potentiality. Adopted into a photographic animation, the ambiguity present in the boundaries between footage and still image is displayed. Through perceptual experiences I had an epiphany of a unique niche space with multifarious spatial boundaries that overlap, or space that belongs nowhere. The modern space hybridity and identity crisis of these space is what understates the context of the my work. To examine the fixed and incorporeal moving space I analyze the concept between the moving space and space itself. The modern society today shelters diversity, hybridity and multilayered cultural space deriving from the accelerated globalization. The contrasting aspects of the common place where cultures overlap is discernible yet the boundaries seem abated. The perception of space isn’t still or stable and the elements of speed, force, image, flow and imagination are unsettled. The space deriving from the overlapping and the myriad of central space as well as the surrounding ones are distinguished as such where traces are left, hybridized through time paving the road for a third space. And this third space is the avenue that connects the social and cultural differences, hatching possibilities of hybridity. The space I intend to explore encompasses the physical ones we can set foot on, the products of our imagination, the ones in cyber space reaching up to the third space. I allude the demarcation between spaces, the disparities uncovered here and there and everywhere celebrating the potential of hybrids with the surfacing of new elements. As incongruous elements from space are weaved and coalesced they take on a unique form of a shifting space. The space I intent to reveal is an open space comprised of already completed and immersed ones insinuating the creation of new values and culture based on impulse and compromise. The element of “window” often appears in the my work. It avails as conciliator for the physical perception in reality and space where the thoughts are projected based on savoir-faires. It stands far from being the stereotyped dichotomous window for cognition but the one that creates a network to a different space. I bestow the empty space with movement, depicting the non-existing margins between still and dynamic spaces. In this process, the intimate space slips away from the protection of the inside space to experience the uncanny reality in a new space. The interpolated space discovered within the redundancy of traveling back and forth from the intimate to the uncanny spaces, is depicted as a momentous space. Therefore, the “between space” is a midway area that doesn’t belong to “ here" or “ here" but another hybrid space that acknowledges the “difference” whereas including scintillas from here and there. The association between the here and there isn’t based on a binary conflict but there is a “there” in the “here” and the “there” is a “here” depicting an uninterrupted shifting of places. This is how the infinitely slipping and overlapping “between space” has scintillas of time and space accumulating and overlapping whereas it turns into a “third space”composed of new ambivalent and hybrid cultures and identity. I peruse the concept of modern space and touches base on the aggregate constrains of space and the incongruous elements of infinity by restoring the perceived public space images. The restored space is deconstructive and decentralized leaning over to a more a cryptic and mercurial nature. It goes beyond the physical and psychological, depicting the transmutation of the “between space” where the scintillas of time and space overlap and accrue to turn into a “third space”composed of new ambivalent and hybrid cultures and identity. From the viewpoint of modern society, which is seen as the identity and exchangeability between the dataized subject and humans, I discover an inconclusive facet within the world of data and the physical world, and he folds and spreads it as if he were implementing an online based visual image management technique, to place it in a different place. This space isn’t horizon to look forward to or means to take us back in time, its existence is a fact yet retains no identity but a mere space with scintillas that own no history or layers of time.I ply time and space, discovering the self identity in the transmutation along the discernment and identity, embodiment and exclusions' complex forms.
